According to Wake County tax records, the venerable building on Edenton Street is now worth $52.7 million. That’s a hefty jump in value for the Capitol, which was worth $21.2, according to tax records, back in 2008.

The Capitol’s upward spike shows how much real estate in Raleigh has been growing.
