Teen hit by SUV near Raleigh elementary school

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Raleigh police said a teen was hit by a vehicle around 3:30 p.m. Monday near Lynn Road Elementary School.

The 13-year-old boy was hit on Lead Mine Road near the intersection with Shadyside Drive.

A woman operating a SUV hit the boy, Raleigh police confirmed.

The boy was taken to WakeMed with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

No other information was immediately available.
