Duke’s Jefferson out indefinitely with right foot injury

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Duke senior forward Amile Jefferson is out indefinitely with a right foot injury, the school announced Monday.

Jefferson has been averaging a double-double through the first nine games of the season.

Jefferson, a captain, has averaged 11.4 points and 10.3 rebounds per game this season.

Duke is 8-1 on the season with their only loss coming against No. 2 Kentucky, 74-63.

The Blue Devils play Georgia Southern Tuesday at 7 p.m.
