Pinehurst pedestrian uninjured in collision with car

PINEHURST, N.C. (WNCN) – A 22-year-old man was uninjured when he was hit by a car on N.C. Highway 211 in Pinehurst Friday evening, the Aberdeen Times reported.

The collision occurred around 5:45 p.m. near the intersection of N.C. 211 and Gun Club Drive.

The pedestrian came over the hood and broke the vehicle’s windshield, the Aberdeen Times reported.

The driver said he did not see the pedestrian until the vehicle hit him.

The victim was checked out by EMS at the scene and refused to be transported to the hospital.

Pinehurst police said no charges are expected to be filed in the incident.
