Raleigh police responded to a collision between a Go Raleigh bus and a sedan around 9 a.m.
During the incident, the bus crashed into a church and hit a power pole on W. Edenton Street at S. McDowell Street and took down electrical lines. Power was briefly knocked out in the area, but Duke Energy is no longer reporting any outages.

In a 911 call released by Raleigh police, a caller witnessed the collision and called for help.
“A bus and car hit and the bus has hit the church,” the caller said.
The dispatcher asked if anyone needed help, the caller said, “We don’t know, honey. We are in the building across the street.”
Police said there are reports of injuries, but did not provide any other details.
