RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (NBC News) – A group of cliff photos spreading on social media have made a little known place in the suburbs of Rio De Janeiro a hot tourism attraction.
Know as Pedra Do Telegrafo, the site is now receiving curious hikers who want to pose for photos on its cliff.
Tourists first have to climb the hill for over an hour and then wait in line, perhaps for another hour under the scorching summer sun, in order to get a chance to stand on a stone, which is right on the edge of the cliff and pose for pictures.
Some tourists even hang from the stone for their photos.
One local tourist said, “The line is really long but this fantastic place is worth waiting for.”
