Suspect robs Fayetteville convenience store at knife point

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – Fayetteville police are asking for help in identifying a suspect the department said robbed a Ramsey Street convenience store at knife point early Tuesday.

The suspect entered the Short Stop located at 1907 Ramsey Street just after 7 a.m. and showed a knife to the clerk while demanding money, police said.

The suspect left the business in the direction of Rosehill Road with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police said the suspect stands around 5 feet 5 inches tall and has a medium build. He was wearing a grey toboggan with a black hoodie, blue windbreaker pants with white stripes and black gloves.

Anyone with information concerning the robbery or the identity of the suspect, is asked to contact detective D.
