Two men sought after holding up Durham convenience store, police say

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Police in Durham are looking for a pair of men involved in an armed robbery.

The incident happened around 9 p.m. New Year’s Eve at the Morehead Mini Mart at 1601 Morehead Avenue, police said.

“Two males wearing black ski masks and hoodies entered the business …. and robbed the business at gunpoint,” police said in a press release.

They fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspects appeared to be men in their late teens or early 20s, police said.

“Investigators are looking into the possibility that they may have been involved in a similar robbery at the business on November 23,” police said.
