FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Police say they need help tracking down a 35-year-old Fayetteville man who they say robbed a bank in December.
Police responded to the BB&T Bank located at 7790 Good Middling Drive in reference to a report of a robbery on Dec. 11 around 2:35 p.m.
Police said a man entered the bank, approached the counter, stated he had a weapon on him and then demanded money from the teller. The suspect pulled a mask over his face when he walked up to the counter.
The suspect was able to leave the bank with an unknown amount of money. He fled the scene in a blue Cadillac with a silver stripe.
Detectives have obtained warrants for the arrest of Mark Lawrence Campbell, age 35, of the 4500 block of Belford Road, charging him with Common Law Robbery of a Bank.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance with finding Campbell.
