RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Congressman David Price, who serves the 4th District Of North Carolina, has endorsed Hillary Clinton for president.
The Democrat made the announcement Tuesday morning in a one-on-one interview with WNCN.
“Hillary Clinton is the experienced, principled leader we need to continue moving our country toward a more prosperous and inclusive future,” Rep. David Price said Tuesday. “In her three decades of public service, she has maintained a steady focus on addressing the causes of inequality: expanding economic opportunity, improving education, making quality health care and housing accessible and affordable, alleviating poverty. In this campaign, she has put forward bold and convincing proposals to deal with gun violence, financial system abuses, big money in politics, mass incarceration, wage stagnation, and access to college.”
Price said Clinton’s experience in Foreign policy would help make Clinton a great president.
“She is well-prepared to be Commander-in-Chief, but fully understands the power of diplomacy and has the record as Secretary of State to prove it — establishing the foundations of the Iran nuclear agreement and a global approach to climate change, and making women’s and LGBT rights, freedom of information, and economic and political inclusion integral to American foreign policy,” Price stated.
Price said he believed Clinton is the best candidate to be the next President of the United States.
