NC man charged with cyber stalking, communicating threats

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) – Wake Forest Police have charged a Youngsville man with multiple crimes, including cyber stalking.

Dwayne Lee Collins, 53, has been charged with cyberstalking, filing a false report, harassing communications and communicating threats.

On Nov. 9, 2015, Police say Collins and a female acquaintance reported a break in, larceny of a firearm, communicating threats and stalking. Following a thorough investigation, police determined Collins was responsible.

On Jan. 13 Police executed a search warrant at Collins’ residence. During the execution of the search warrant, police discovered evidence of other crimes occurring in Franklin County, which fall under the jurisdiction of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
