TRINITY, N.C. (WNCN) – Three people were arrested following the discovery of a meth lab at a Trinity home, deputies said.
Jason Martin, 23, Ashley Mashburn, 24, and Dylan Vestal, 24, all of Trinity, were charged with manufacturing meth following the search of a home on Meadowbrook Drive.
Mashburn also was charged with felony child abuse causing serious bodily injury after a 13-year-old male was exposed to meth, Randolph County deputies said.
Deputies said they responded to the High Point Regional emergency room on Monday on a report that a juvenile may have been exposed to a meth lab.
An ensuing search of the Meadowbrook Drive home uncovered a meth lab as well as components used to make meth, deputies said.
Mashburn and Vestal, who live at the home searched, also face charges of maintaining a dwelling place for a controlled substance.
Martin was held under a $50,000 secured bond in the Randolph County Jail. Vestal was held under a $5,000 secured bond, while Mashburn was held under a $2,500 secured bond.
