911 problems cleared up for Holly Springs AT&T Wireless customers

HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. (WNCN) – AT&T Wireless was experiencing tower issues in the Holly Springs 911 coverage area on Saturday, Holly Springs town officials said.

Technicians worked on the problem, which caused 911 calls on the AT&T network not to connect to the 911 call center, officials said.

The cause was described as a service provider’s router configuration issue. No other carriers or land lines were affected.

The issue was resolved on Saturday night.
