3 wanted in Harnett County shooting incident that left 1 injured

BUNNLEVEL, N.C. (WNCN) – Deputies with the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office are searching for three people in relation to a Tuesday shooting incident that involved multiple locations.

Around 4 p.m., deputies responded to a shots fired call on Ervin McNeill Street in Bunnlevel. While responding, an additional call reporting shots fired came in from Shetland Lane, which is an eight of a mile away.

Antonio Williams, of Willow Drive in Sanford, was found injured by gunfire on Shetland Lane.

Deputies arrested Anthony K. Surles, 22, of Dunn, in connection with the shooting and charged him with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill/inflict serious injury and felony conspiracy, the sheriff’s office said.

Three additional suspects are wanted in connection with the shooting.

Courtney Williams, 23, of Dunn and Devonte Myles, 22, of Erwin are wanted for attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill/inflict serious injury and felony conspiracy.

Gerald L. McLean, 29, of Bunnlevel is wanted for shooting into an occupied vehicle and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
