WOLF POINT, Mont. (AP) – A missing 4-year-old girl has been found alive on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in Montana after she was reportedly abducted.

Roosevelt County spokesman Lee Allmer says the girl was found Sunday and was undergoing a medical exam to make sure she was not harmed.

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office says Maci Lilley was reported missing at about 9:30 p.m. Friday in Wolf Point.

The office says witnesses reported a man took the child from a park where she had been playing.

The girl was found by Undersheriff Corey Reum a few miles north of Wolf Point, the town where witnesses say she was taken by a young man in a park about 9:30 p.m. Friday.

The sheriff’s office says John Lieba was taken into custody and questioned in Wolf Point.

Allmer says no information is being released on where the girl was found or details about Lieba.

Allmer says the FBI is leading the investigation.
