NASHVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – The Nash County Sheriff’s Office announced that a woman and her young twin daughters who went missing Saturday afternoon have been found.
Heather Marie Lanfair and her 4-month-old twin daughters, Sofia and Riley, were reported missing at 1 a.m. Sunday morning.
According to the sheriff’s office, the three had been last seen at 3 p.m. Saturday when they left their home, possibly headed to a Wal-Mart store in Wilson.
Lanfair is described as 25 years old, 190 pounds, with long dark red hair, blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey long sleeve shirt with black stars on it and she has nose and lip piercings.
Riley and Sofia Lanfair weigh approximately 15 pounds and have dark black hair and blue eyes.
The Nash County Sheriff’s Office thanked the media for quickly disseminating the information, which they said helped to quickly locate Lanfair and her daughters.
