COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Marctarius K. Grace is accused of shooting three people, including 7-year-old Deonte Fisher, who died from his wounds.
Grace, 18, was issued a $2 million bond in a Franklin County courtroom Monday.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 4:08pm on March 4, officers responded to the Express Mart, at 900 E. 5th Ave. on the report of multiple people shot.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a 5-year-old boy, 7-year-old Deonte Fisher and 19-year-old Rayquan Holloway all suffering from gunshot wounds.
Fisher would later be pronounced dead at the hospital.
Holloway and the other boy were hospitalized in stable condition. It was later discovered a fourth child, a 4-year-old girl, was also injured in the shooting, but police did not release the cause of her injuries. She was also hospitalized in stable condition.
Police said Grace fired multiple shots into the vehicle the victims were in while it was parked in front of the store.
