CBS North Carolina’s annual anchor bracket challenge

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – So who are you picking for the Final Four?

The picks are in for the CBS North Carolina anchors, and one bracket you may want to pay particular attention to is that of meteorologist Alyssa Corfont.

Corfont is pretty astute at predicting the weather, and last year, she picked the teams in the Final Four correctly, too.

This year, Corfont has North Carolina, Michigan State, Villanova and Oklahoma in the Final Four.

She has Duke falling to Oklahoma in the West Region final.

Corfont has Villanova beating Carolina 72-67 for the national title.

Another bracket to watch is that of sports reporter Todd Gibson.

Gibson has UNC, Michigan State, Kansas and Oklahoma in the Final Four.

He has Michigan State beating Kansas in the title game. Is this Tom Izzo and the Spartans’ year? Gibson sure hopes so.

Bill Reh thinks the Tar Heels are going to cut down the nets. He has the same Final Four as Corfont.

Reh thinks Roy Williams will beat Kansas this year in the championship game.

Meteorologist Kristin Ketchell also thinks the Heels will win it all.

But Ketchell has the Oregon Ducks in the title game. (Note: Ketchell has previously worked as a meteorologist in Eugene, Oregon.)
