GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) – Goldsboro police are investigating the shooting death of a 28-year-old man Tuesday afternoon.
Shortly after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the 400 block of Seymour Drive in reference to a person being shot.
When officers arrived to the scene, they located Quentin Lamont Kenon, 28, of Goldsboro, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Kenon was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
The investigation into Kenon’s death is ongoing.
