MAULDIN, S.C. (WNCT) – Officer Taylor Hudson, a former-East Carolina football player, is credited with saving a baby girl’s life Monday night.
Hudson was called to an apartment in Mauldin, South Carolina, for a baby girl that was unresponsive and possibly going into cardiac arrest. As soon as he got there, Hudson saw the baby lying on the floor.
He began CPR until Mauldin Fire and Greenville County EMS could get there.
When they arrived, the infant was breathing and transported to a hospital for medical observation.
Hudson was former-C-USA All-Conference 1st team award-winner as an offensive lineman for the Pirates from 2010 to 2013.
He then joined the Mauldin Police Department in January of last year.
