Officials release 911 calls in Wake Forest triple homicide

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) — Investigators on Sunday released the 911 calls from Friday’s triple homicide in Wake Forest.

Jonathan Frederick Sander is facing three felony murder charges. Authorities have accused him of killing three people after a neighbor dispute. (WNCN)

The shooting happened on Clearspring Drive around 6 p.m.

Officers say the killings stemmed from a dispute between neighbors.

The following are parts of the calls:

“I just heard seven gun shots and people screaming right behind my house.”
“There is a man with a shot gun standing right behind our house.”
“He just came in with a shotgun and shot everybody.”
“My parents have been shot.”

Deputies say Jonathan Sander shot and killed Elaine Mazzella, Sandy Mazzella and Stephanie Mazzella.

PREVIOUS: 3 shot dead in Wake Forest; Neighbor charged with murder

Some of the 911 callers said they were family members who were in the house when the shooting happened.

Caller: “My sister and brother-in-law are laying on the floor. Mother-in-law.
Dispatcher: “Is anybody awake or breathing?”
Caller: “No. They got shotguns. They’re done.”

Sander is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

A GoFundMe account has been set up for the Mazzella family.
