$10,000 reward offered for Louisburg triple homicide suspect

LOUISBURG, N.C. (WNCN) – Deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office are actively searching for a suspect in a shooting that left three people dead.

Early Sunday morning, officials identified the suspect as Darius R. Robinson. Officials say he is “considered armed and dangerous.” They ask for anyone who knows where he is to contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at 919-496-7867.

The N.C. Governor’s Office is now offering a $10,000 reward for information on Robinson’s whereabouts that leads to an arrest and conviction, Franklin County Sheriff Kent Winstead said on Sunday afternoon.

Winstead says his deputies had already been looking for Robinson on a different charge. Winstead says Robinson was on probation after being released from prison about two weeks ago.

He was required to wear an ankle bracelet that monitored his whereabouts, but removed the device on Friday — the day before the shootings, Winstead said.

“They notified us he cut his bracelet off. At that time, deputies try to find him, but officers were unable to locate him,” Winstead said.

The shooting happened just after noon on Saturday at a home on Harris Road.

The victims have been identified as

  • Keisha Wilder Livingston, 36, who lived in the home
  • Shamare Malik Harris,18, of La Grange
  • Diana Marie Edgerton, 23, of Louisburg,

Winstead told CBS North Carolina a fourth person was not hurt and survived the shooting and told authorities the name of a possible suspect. A family member said the fourth person played dead and was able to identify Robinson as the suspect.

“It’s terrible for any community to have to endure anything like this. A triple homicide is just devastating to the community and the families. We are going to do everything we can to bring this person to justice,” Winstead said.

Livingston’s family members tell CBS North Carolina that she leaves behind two young children.
