LILLINGTON, N.C. (WNCN) — A young woman has been charged after a man was shot outside a home in Lillington on Saturday afternoon, Harnett County deputies say.
Major Jeff Huber of the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office said that the incident took place at 4:30 p.m. outside the home in the 1400 block of Matthews Road in Lillington.
Huber said that one person was shot and transported to WakeMed.
“An arrest has been made and it appears that the incident is domestic related, possible boyfriend/girlfriend,” Huber said in a press release.
Shane Hammond, who Huber said is about 22 years old, was injured during the shooting.
Krystal L. Jackson, age 20, of Grameta Lane in Lillington was charged with Assault with deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, according to Huber.
