VASS, N.C. (WNCN) – A 19-year-old woman was airlifted to a trauma center Tuesday night after crashing her vehicle outside of Vass.
The Aberdeen Times reported the crash happened on Henderson Road near the intersection of Ring Road shortly after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
There were three people inside the vehicle at the time of the crash and a small dog, Aberdeen Times reported. The paper reported that one of the occupants, a 19-year-old female, was thrown from the car when it overturned.
The woman was taken by ambulance from the scene and eventually airlifted to Chapel Hill, Aberdeen Times reported.
The other two occupants and the dog were OK. The crash remains under investigation.
