CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Hundreds of gallons of paint spilled on Brookshire Boulevard in northwest Charlotte Friday morning, causing significant delays in the area.
The Charlotte Fire Department says 250 gallons of paint spilled on Brookshire Boulevard at the I-85 ramp.
The incident happened around 8 a.m., blocking the right lane of Brookshire Boulevard outbound and the right northbound lane of I-85.
There’s no word on when crews expect to have the lanes cleared and reopened.
Hazmat crews went to the scene.
Police have not said if anyone was injured in the incident.
