Deputies search for NC man missing since April 5

MOCKSVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – The Davie County Sheriff’s Office needs help locating a North Carolina man who has been missing since April 5.

The sheriff’s office is looking for 23-year-old Andy Scott Sigmon. Sigmon was seen parked in his Jeep on the side of the highway and the sheriff’s office didn’t feel that he was in distress.

Sigmon told the sheriff’s office he would leave so deputies left.

Later that day, neighbors called authorities to say there was a guy walking around in the woods and that something wasn’t right because he didn’t have on a shirt or shoes.

The sheriff’s office went back to the location where Sigmon’s Jeep was parked, but Sigmon was nowhere to be found.

Sigmon has two scars toward the middle of his forehead, a cartridge that pokes out of the middle of his chest and scratches on his left forearm.

Sigmon was last seen wearing blue jean carpenter pants, brown boots with duct tape on the toes, a blue mechanic short with “Andy” and “Renwood Mills” on patches. He also has a tongue ring and had a watch on his right wrist.

Anyone with information about Sigmon’s whereabouts is asked to call De. J Stutts at the Davie County Sheriff’s Office at 336-751-6238 or the Cue Center for Missing Persons Tip Line at 910-232-1687.
