COWPENS, S.C. – A skull and other bones that were found in Spartanburg County, SC on March 30 have been identified.
Coroner Rusty Clevenger says they belong to Norman Kendall Finley from North Carolina. Finley did not list a permanent address that officials could establish, Clevenger said.
A surgical artifact was observed and compared to a C.T. scan that had been done to Finley previously.
Finley’s wife was notified today and they were told he would be 58 or 59 at the time of his disappearance.
Examinations continue to determine if any possible foul play could be involved. There are no signs of trauma at this time.
