GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — A person was killed in a crash just outside a Triad church Tuesday morning.
The crash was reported around 11:30 a.m. in the 2900 block of Oak Ridge Road, also known as Highway 150, near Moravia Moravian Church. No other injuries were reported.
The car hit a church sign and a tree, WXII’s Jarred Hill reported. The car’s lone occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers believe speed was a factor in the crash. Images from the scene showed extensive damage to the car.
The investigation continues.
