After a four-month investigation, Travis Donnell Williams, 29, of Hillsborough has been arrested on drug charges, including Selling a Controlled Substance Within 1,000 feet of a school. He was taken into custody Monday by the U.S. Marshal’s task force.
In December 2015, police received a tip that Williams was distributing crack cocaine from a residence on Forrest St. in Hillsborough, which is close to Central Elementary School. At the first of April, investigators charged Williams with two counts of PWISD Cocaine, two counts of Sell/Deliver Cocaine, and two counts of Selling a Controlled Substance Within 1,000 Feet of a School, Daycare, or Park.
Williams is in the Orange County Detention Center under a $60,000 bond and is on federal probation for similar charges.
