WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) – Three people were displaced after a fire destroyed a mobile home in Wake Forest Sunday afternoon, a Wake Forest Fire Department official said.
The call for a residential structure fire came in just after 12:30 p.m. at 222 Anderson Drive. The home was fully engulfed when fire crews arrived on scene, the official said.
Three people, two adults and one child, have been displaced in the wake of the fire. No one was injured in the fire.
According to a neighbor, 68-year-old Larry Stallings owned the mobile home and did not have insurance.
The Red Cross was called in to assist the family.
Officials said the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
