The victim told authorities he was at a Kangaroo gas station and a man asked him to cash a $100 lottery ticket. The victim said he was initially going to give the suspect cash in exchange for the ticket, but then he decided not to.

The victim left the store unaware that the suspect followed him.

When the victim pulled into his driveway, another vehicle pulled in behind him, and before he could exit his vehicle, several subjects rushed up with guns pointed at him, the sheriff’s office said.

The suspect forced the victim into his house. The victim’s father woke up and the suspects ran out of the house, firing several shots at the home. The suspects then fled the scene in their vehicle.

One of the bullets went through the home.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who can help identify the suspects seen in surveillance photos to call them at 910-323-1500 or Crimestoppers at 910-483-8477.
