Fort Bragg soldiers to redeploy from the Middle East

FORT BRAGG, N.C. – Let the family reuniting begin. Soldiers assigned to the 18th Field Artillery Brigade headquarters are scheduled to return Tuesday, May 10, after a nine-month deployment in the Middle East.

About 100 soldiers and their families are scheduled to be reunited at Green Ramp on Pope Army Airfield. The brigade colors will be uncased, symbolizing the unit’s return.

The brigade built partner capacity and strengthened military relationships with partner nations throughout the region.

The U.S. Central Command AOR covers 20 nations in the Middle East, Central and South Asia.
