7 Triangle food trucks to provide free meals at The Salvation Army in Raleigh

Sweet Traditions is one of the food trucks that will be at the Share A Plate rodeo.

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Seven Triangle food trucks will provide free meals to those at The Salvation Army’s Center of Hope Monday evening.

The RDU Mobile Food Association will host the “Share A Plate” rodeo from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Judy D. Zelnak Center of Hope located at 1863 Capital Blvd.

The event will feed 250 people in the shelter, soup line and the homeless child outreach program (Project CATCH). The families and individuals will be able to choose the food truck of their choice and eat for free.

The event will be open to the public and 25 percent of the proceeds will go to families in The Salvation Army’s programs.

The following food trucks will be featured:
·        Gussy’s Greek Street Food
·        Chick-N-Que
·        Sweet Traditions
·        Will & Pops
·        Cocoa Forte
·        Philly’s Cheesesteaks
·        Baozi
