Wake Forest police investigating suspicious fire

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) – The Wake Forest Police Department is asking the public’s help in identifying and location those responsible for a May 6 fire at a vacant home in the 400 block of East Spring Street.

Firefighters responded to the fire shortly after 4:30 p.m. on May 6 at 418 E. Spring St. The fire was contained to the living room.

Police have called the fire suspicious. The home had been vacant for eight to 10 years and no utilities were active.

No suspects are in custody and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the fire is asked to called the police department at 919-554-6150.
