GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) — Two Goldsboro brothers were arrested Wednesday after deputies say they wore masks during an armed robbery and forced everyone on the floor last week.
The incident happened around 1:10 p.m. on Sunday, May 8 when two men entered Wayne Pharmacy at 2303 Wayne Memorial Drive in Goldsboro, said Major Anthony D. Carmon of the Goldsboro Police.
The suspects, armed with handguns and wearing masks to cover their faces, robbed the business at gunpoint, Carmon said in a press release.
“They ordered all employees and customers on the ground and stole an undetermined amount of US currency and pharmaceutical grade drugs,” Carmon said.
On Wednesday, investigations division with the Goldsboro Police Department secured Felony Warrants two men for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon of the Wayne Pharmacy.
Edgar Angel Toledano, 20, and Jesus Reymundo Toledano, 19, both of Goldsboro were charged after they were nabbed in a traffic stop on Hwy 44 in Goldsboro, officials said.
Another Toledano brother — a teenager — was also arrested on Wednesday on drug charges.
Jose Louis Fanseco, age 31, and Jaime Elias Toledano, age 17, were charged with Trafficking Schedule I Controlled Substance.
Jesus and Edgar were also charged with Trafficking Schedule I Controlled Substance as well, police said.
“It is suspected that the drugs seized were stolen during the Wayne Pharmacy Robbery on May 8,” official said.
The arrest of these four suspects without anyone injured was a result of the Goldsboro Police Department and Wayne County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team working together, according to officials.
Edgar Toledano is being held under a $300,000 secured bond, Jesus Toledano is being held under a $320,000 secured bond, and both Jaime Toledano and Jose Fansesco have $50,000 secured bonds.
