SPRING HOPE, N.C. (WNCN) – Spring Hope police arrested three people and are searching for one in connection with a May 12 shooting that left two injured.
Police said Jamie Lynn Nye got into a confrontation with a person at a home at 416 West Nash Street in Spring Hope.
Several hours later, Nye returned to the home with a group of people. Nye and her group got into an altercation with people at the home which led to gunshots.
Shots were fired into the home and two people, Darien Coppedge, 21, and Trey Harris, 26, were hit by gun fire.
Coppedge was shot near his ankle and Harris was struck in the thigh.
Both victims were treated at WakeMed and later released.
Spring Hope police arrested Nye, Telisha Knight and Damadian Arrington in connection with the shooting.
Rashon Knight, 20, is still on the run, Spring Hope police said. Rashon Knight faces charges of assault and battery, soliciting for gang activity, and outstanding warrant for probation violation.
Nye, 29, was charged with possession of a stolen firearm and discharging a firearm into occupied property and is being held under $250,000 bond.
Telisha Knight, 25, is being held under $75,000 bond after being charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
Arrington is being held on a $75,000 bond.
