LEXINGTON, N.C. (WFMY) – The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office has arrested four people charged in connection with a drug bust.
On Wednesday, multiple agencies including, 65 officers, assisted in the drug bust while searching five houses in the Lexington area.
Investigators confiscated 48.5 kilos (106.7 pounds) of cocaine in “brick form”, one rifle, eight handguns (five stolen), and plastic bags containing $157,000.
The drug bust is part of an 18-month investigation where officers also seized the following:
- 6 pounds crystal meth
- 8 pounds marijuana
- 49.3 grams heroin
- 4 handguns
- $2.5 million in cash
Deputies arrested Juan Carlos Miramontes Martinez, Ramon Hugo Gonzales, Jorge Martinez Sandoval, and Franco Antonio Bonfil.
Martinez, Gonzales, and Bonfil are charged with conspire to traffic cocaine.
