RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A Durham man was struck and killed Friday evening on Glenwood Avenue by Interstate 540, Raleigh police confirmed.

A man identified as Ronald Joseph Cinnante Jr., 32, of Durham, was hit and killed just before 9 p.m. The driver of the car was on Glenwood Avenue coming from Briar Creek Parkway and heading toward I-540. Cinnante was hit near the ramp onto I-540. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the police report, Cinnante was wearing dark clothing head-to-toe and crossed the road outside of a designated crosswalk.
