Man dies after drowning in Raleigh hotel pool

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A man died after he was pulled from the water at a Raleigh hotel’s pool Friday afternoon, police said.

CPR was performed on the man who was unresponsive when pulled from the pool around 3:45 p.m. at the Days Inn in the 3900 block of S. Wilmington Street.

The victim was transported to WakeMed where he died, police confirmed.

No other information was immediately available.
