HOLLYWOOD – The actor who played “Alf” has died at age 76, CNN reports.
Michu Meszaros suffered a stroke Thursday, his manager said. In addition to starring in the 1980s sitcom, Meszaros appeared in “Dear John,” “H.R. Pufnstuf,” and the movies “Look Who’s Talking” and “Big Top Pee-wee.”
Meszaros didn’t voice Alf but wore a full body suit to play him.
He was 33 inches tall. Meszaros was born in Hungary and joined the circus in 1973.
