Traffic moving on I-95 after tractor trailer accident

KENLY, N.C. (WNCN) – Traffic on I-95 north in Johnston County was moving again Thursday afternoon after a tractor trailer truck lost its trailer on the highway Thursday morning.

About 7 a.m., a tractor trailer was traveling north on I-95 when the trailer became loose and settled across both lanes of I-95 north.

The trailer was carrying corn.

A second tractor trailer swerved and but still collided with the trailer. Neither of the truck drivers were injured.

The driver of the tractor-trailer truck that came loose was Domyacht DeMone Gaines, 27, of Mount Olive, officials said.  He was driving a truck from Bill Patterson Trucking Co, Inc., of Smithfield.
