WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) — A masseuse solicited an undercover Wake Forest police officer for prostitution earlier this week, officials say.
The 25-year-old woman from Durham also gave at least one officer a massage despite not having a license to do so, Wake Forest Police said.
Si Yang, of the 800 block of Snowcrest Trail, was arrested around 9:30 p.m. Thursday at 12223 Hampton Way Drive, a commercial building, in Wake Forest, according to Wake Forest officials.
Officials said that the undercover officer visited Yang on Wednesday for a $50 massage. During that massage on Wednesday, the officer was also offered sexual services, officials said.
On Thursday, another undercover officer went to Yang and was offered a massage for $40, according to officials.
Yang was charged with a misdemeanor count of soliciting prostitution and two misdemeanor counts of practicing massage therapy without a license, Wake Forest Police said.
Yang was jailed overnight and had a first court appearance scheduled for Friday.
