RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A Youngsville man is facing multiple child sex charges after allegedly committing sex crimes against two children under the age of 16, warrants and arrest records show.
Miguel Angel Dutra-Duarte, 55, has been charged with felony indecent liberties with a child, felony sex offense – parental role, and first-degree rape.
According to warrants, Dutra-Duarte engaged in multiple sexual acts with a female under the age of 16 while in a parental role to her. Warrants also show that Dutra-Duarte allegedly sexually abused a female under the age of 13.
Both offenses are believed to have occurred between Oct. 1, 2015 and Oct. 31, 2015. He was arrested June 17 by a Wake County Sheriff’s Office deputy.
Dutra-Duarte is listed as being a citizen of Uruguay.
His first court appearance is scheduled for June 20 at 9:30 a.m. at the Franklin County Courthouse. He is currently being held in Franklin County under a $1 million secured bond.
