WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) – A Wake Forest man was arrested and charged Saturday with firing a semi-automatic handgun into a crowded Raleigh parking lot, according to an arrest warrant.
Christopher Cordero Estes, 21, is charged with going armed to the terror of people and discharging a firearm in the city limits of Raleigh.
Estes “went about the public highways of [Wake County] in a manner to cause terror to the people, by firing at a person in a parking lot full of people causing multiple people to scatter,” the warrant reads.
Estes was arrested in the 3300 block of Capital Boulevard in the Starmount Shopping Center.
According to arrest records, Estes has now been arrested 13 times since July 2012.
He was placed under a $5,000 secured bond at the Wake County Detention Center, but records indicate he has bonded out.
