NC mom and teen daughter missing after trip to grocery store

BURLINGTON, N.C. (WFMY) — Burlington Police say a mother and daughter are missing after they went shopping in a Harris Teeter and didn’t return to their car.

Police say 43-year-old Kimberly Ching Sullivan and her 14-year-old daughter Kirah Gusman were last seen entering the store on 2727 S. Church Street around 3:30 a.m. Saturday. Kimberly’s wife Sherri Sullivan reported them missing when she didn’t see them return.

Kimberly is described as 5’1, 200 lbs, and was wearing a black tank top. Kirah is described as 5’0, 80 lbs, and wearing a purple and white striped shirt.

Burlington Police say they do not believe foul play is involved.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kirah and Kimberly should call Burlington/Alamance Crime Stoppers at 336-229-7100.
