McCrory kicks off Fourth of July weekend

Gov. Pat McCrory addresses reporters on Thursday, June 30.

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Gov. Pat McCrory kicked off the Fourth of July holiday weekend with an event Thursday morning at the State Capitol.

Also speaking at the event was Susan Kluttz, the secretary of Natural and Cultural Resources.

The Fourth of July is Monday, and Americans are expected to travel in record numbers.
