3 busted making meth at Goldsboro motel

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) – Three people were arrested after police busted them making meth inside a motel room in Goldsboro Wednesday night.

Goldsboro officers responded to the Serena Inn on Corporate Drive after a complaint was made about a strong chemical odor coming from a room.

Police said Melissa Bell, Joseph Russell Carter Jr., and Daniel Pellew were in the process of making meth inside room 219.

The motel was evacuated as authorities dismantled the lab.

Bell, 30, was charged with “methanphatmine offenses” and probation violation, according to Goldsboro police.

Carter, 40, was charged with “methanphatmine offenses” and is being held under $600,000 bond.

Pellew, 43, was also charged with “methanphatmine offenses” and is being held under $10,000 bond.
