Authorities looking for man seen stealing tools from Fayetteville construction site

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of stealing tools from a house under construction.

Deputies were dispatched to 2421 Fields Road on June 23 in reference to a larceny of tools from a house under construction.

A suspect was caught on camera stealing tools and loading them into a mid-70s Ford F100 pick up truck. The truck has a green driver’s side door and tailgate. The top and hood of the truck are white and it’s accessorized with a North Carolina State University front license plate, an aluminum toolbox, and the bed has a liner with rails.

The Sheriff’s Office is requesting that if anyone can identify the suspect or truck, please contact the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 910-323-1500 or Crimestoppers at (910) 483-8477.
