CARY, N.C. (WNCN) – A logging truck flipped over on Interstate 440 westbound and spilled logs all over the road Monday morning.
The truck crashed just after 9:15 a.m. on I-440 west at exit 1 for Interstate 40 near Cary, officials said.
A CBS North Carolina photographer on scene said the exit off I-40 to U.S. Highway 1 is closed and it appeared like the truck crashed while coming off I-40.
As of 11 a.m., the westbound lanes of I-440 were still closed. The shoulder near the Jones Franklin Road exit has reopened.
Authorities were not able to provide any details into how the crash happened and whether anyone was injured.
