WILSON, N.C. (WNCN) – Two Wilson teens have been arrested and charged with kidnapping and rape.
Maurice J. Dickerson, 16, was arrested and charged with first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping and two counts of sexual offense.
While Albert H. Jones III, 17, was arrested and charged with first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping, and one count of sexual offense. Dickerson was given a $200,000 secured bond while Jones was given a $100,000 secured bond.
On June 29 at 1 a.m., officers of the Wilson Police Department were dispatched to the 600 block of Minchew St. in regards to a sexual assault. When officers arrived, they spoke to a juvenile victim who stated that she was sexually assaulted by a group of male juveniles.
The Wilson Police Department is still actively investigating this case.
Jones was previously arrested and charged with the Nov. 28 murder of Donna Lynne Davis. The Wilson Times reported Jones posted a $20,000 secured bond in the murder case in March.
